Significantly raised young stallion for high demands
Estupendo wins the bronze medal at the HAN Championships in 2022 and thus qualifies for the BuCha, in which he also participates to our complete satisfaction. In 2022 he passes his short VA in Münster with an overall score of 8.1 and confirms his performance in 2023 in the sport test in Münster. His first class type, three equally good basic gaits and an exceptional pedigree make this significant quad aspirant highly desirable. The sire Escamillo, himself a premium stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in 2017, was Vice World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses in Verden in 2021 with Manuel Domingues Bernal (ESP) and made a brilliant debut as a stallion sire at the German licensing venues in autumn 2021. The dam’s sire Fürst Romancier is promoted up to advanced (S) level and produced successful Bundeschampionat participants and several premium stallions at German licensing venues, including the important full brothers For Romance I and II. The granddam Baroness XIV produced several successful sport horses. Her sire, the Trakehner black stallion Hohenstein I, was premium stallion at the licensing in Neumünster in 1993, reserve winner of the stallion performance test in 1994, winner of the Trakehner Championships in Cologne in 1995 and third at the Bundeschampionat in Warendorf in the same year. He won medium (M) and advanced (S) level dressage competitions and mastered the entire Grand Prix programme. In 1999 he was awarded the title of Elite Stallion by the Trakehner Verband and in 2002 he was named Trakehner Stallion of the Year. With Radom, Atlas I and Erzsand, there are formative stallions on the dam’s side who have had a lasting influence on Trakehner breeding in Ostholstein and beyond. Estupendo results from the famous and widely branched mare line of the Trakehner main stud mare Blitzrot 678 (by Hirtensang-Kupferhammer-Pirol etc.; T6A). This line also produced the stallions Buddenbrock, Benz, Bernstein, Baluster, Banderas, Bellheim, Belsazar, Berlusconi, Blickfang, Blitz, Blitz und Donner, Blitzwind, Carajan II, Diego (PB NL), Don Ruto (PB BEL), Royal Doruto (PB Oldbg.) and above all the Olympic horse maker Doruto, who worked in the Netherlands and produced such good horses as Ideaal with Jo Hinnemann.
