Oldenburg Champion 2022
Elegant in appearance, in a noble dark chestnut coat, this type and movement strong Vitalis son, in whose pedigree recognised stallion greats of international importance are connected, knows how to inspire the viewer. Vital Hit will be Oldenburg State Champion of 3-year old stallions in 2022 and thus qualifies for the BuCha. He competes in the BuCha with high scores for his basic gaits, especially the scores for his rideability with mostly 8.5. This is also reflected in his performance tests. In 2022 he passed the short-VA-test (WAF) and in January 2023 he passed the sport test (Münster) with respective total scores of well over 8.0.
His sire Vitalis was Reserve Champion at the NRW licensing in 2009 and placed at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden in 2012 and 2013. In 2016 he was “Stallion of the Year” at the Young Horse World Championships in Ermelo (NED) and winner of the NÜRNBERGER BURG-POKAL Final in Frankfurt. So far, he has produced around 50 licensed sons in Germany, including the 2016 Westphalian Champion Stallion, Valverde, as well as several premium stallions and Bundeschampions. The dam Loretta Live has already produced several successful sport horses and is a full sister to the premium stallion Royal Hit and half sister to the formative sire greats Diamond Hit and Sandro Hit, who have had a lasting influence on dressage sport over the last 25 years. Diamond Hit was internationally successful with Emma Hindle (GBR) and Sandro Hit was Bundeschampion, Young Horse World Champion and is currently number 1 in the WBFSH World Dressage Ranking List. Their common dam Loretta is probably the most influential mare in dressage breeding worldwide. The dam’s sire, Royal Dance, was the Oldenburg licensing winner and produced seven licensed sons and a disproportionately large number of horses with advanced (S) level dressage successes in only a short period of breeding. Through the well-known sires Ramino (stallion performance test winner; international experience with Melanie Kötter) and the I a main stallion winners Luciano and Waidmannsheil, the dam line is built up according to the strict recipe for success of the epoch-making traditional Oldenburg station Vorwerk-Cappeln.
