Bretton Woods won the bronze medal at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in 2011 as a five year old.

In partnership with Matthias Alexander Rath he won and was placed highly on many occasions at PSG and Inter I level before they moved up to Grand Prix. As expected, Bretton Woods’ progeny are large framed, impressive looking and dynamic movers. Eleven offspring in his first crops of foals have been licensed, among them Brilliant, the champion stallion at the Mecklenburg Stallion Licensing in Redefin in 2014 and Birmingham, the second reserve champion at the Westphalian Stallion Licensing in 2016 that was subsequently sold to the State Stud Celle in Lower Saxony for EUR 260,000. Within the last years Bretton Woods is on the maternal side in the pedigree at numerous licensing events and auctions. Currently successful offspring in sport are p.e. Hit Plus with Maria Caetano (POR) international placed in GP & GP individual, Bretton Leaf with Hanna Erbe in the advanced class, as well as the licensed stallion Best for Me OLD with Patrick Kraft placed in Inter I. The sire Johnson tops the list of the WBFSH ranking of the most successful dressage stallions. De Niro and the acclaimed stallion Romancier also contribute excellent performance genes on the dam side of the pedigree.
