He passed his HLP sport test with a score of 9.21, one of the highest scores since the introduction of this test format nationwide. In line with his age, he can boast national and international victories and placings up to 1.35m/1.40m. His offspring, the eldest are now three years old, are especially type full, long legged with a lot of ability and an extremely friendly character. Charthago Blue OLD brought several top prices at various auctions and has already produced the first free jumping champions!
His sire Chaccato by Chacco Blue x Stakkato, who started his breeding and sporting career in Klein Roscharden, qualified for the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2019. The dam Campanula Z already produced several successful show jumpers up to 1.45 metre level. The dam’s sire Carthago Z was an Olympic participant in Atlanta in 1996 with Jos Lansink and produced 278 advanced (S) level horses. The great-grandsire Mr. Blue, himself victorious for Holland in the Nations Cup in Aachen, sired the world horses Simon/Beezie Madden (USA) and Plot Blue/Marcus Ehning. Via the internationally successful Holsteiner Lux Z/Jerry Smit (ITA) and the legendary Pilot, the dam line leads to Westphalian roots.
